Third party software available for CRAN Windows services

CRAN offers to build, link and check packages with some selected third party software under Windows. The CRAN build machines for Windows (as well as the on-demand service available at https://win-builder.R-project.org/) are equipped with the software that is shipped with Rtools, see https://cran.r-project.org/bin/windows/Rtools/. In addition, third party software products installed are reflected by the environment and make variables listed below.

• Environment variables pointing to the top level location of the corresponding software that should be clear from the variables' names:
