Due to some problems with the installation of the ‘RNetCDF’ package, the ‘RNetCDF’ function ‘utcal.nc’ was replaced by an own, quite simple, function to extract the time information. The function ‘get_time’ converts the time step and time unit information into POSIXct times. Thus, the ‘RNetCDF’ package is no more required for the ‘cmsaf’ package.
