tabulator provides efficient tabulation with big data in R, with Stata-like output. It contains three distinct functions:
tab()
shows, for each unique value of a selected
variable, the number of observations, proportion of observations, and
cumulative proportion.quantiles()
shows quantile values.tabcount()
shows the number of unique categories for a
selected variable.All functions work with data frames, data tables, and tibbles.
# The easiest way to get tabulator is to install from CRAN:
install.packages("tabulator")
To get a bug fix or to use a feature from the development version, you can install the development version of tabulator from GitHub.
# install.packages("remotes")
::install_github("skhiggins/tabulator") remotes
