PHSMM: Penalised Maximum Likelihood Estimation for Hidden Semi-Markov Models

Provides tools for penalised maximum likelihood estimation of hidden semi-Markov models (HSMMs) with flexible state dwell-time distributions. These include functions for model fitting, model checking and state-decoding.
